Final stop..

London

You know that city where you just feel like you belong? Your heart and soul just thrive, well that’s London for me. I was fortunate enough to study abroad there one summer during college and I’ve been waiting to go back ever since.

Arrival: we flew into London Heathrow and took the express train - it’s a cheap option and only takes 15 minutes into Paddington station. You can also reserve a car or get a taxi but traffic is pretty unpredictable.

Hotel: The Waldorf Hilton - Covent Garden. I absolutely loved the location of this hotel! Other than that, it was your standard Hilton but it was the best option for our time there.

Day 1

Arrival/Check-In

Dinner at Dishoom Covent Garden - unfortunately this restaurant doesn’t take reservations so we waited in line for an hour but it was 100% worth it. I know that sounds crazy but it was some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The cocktails and atmosphere were super unique as well.

Day 2

Afternoon Tea at Sketch - this place gave me new design inspiration for our next house. From the chevron floors, to the pink velvet booths, and the egg shape bathroom stalls, this place was instagram heaven. You’ll need to make a reservation ahead of time and be ready to eat! The food, tea, and champagne were delicious! We weren’t prepared for how full we would be after this experience. Make sure to book the gallery space!!

Touristy things - we spent the afternoon walking around seeing the sites. We’ve already done these tours so we really just wanted to take pictures and head back to the hotel to rest up.

Dinner at Darwin Brasserie inside of the Sky Garden. The views were incredible!! If you’ve never been to London - I highly recommend a place like this. You can also reserve a ticket at the Sky Garden which is a bar but it was quite packed once we left dinner.

Day 3

Breakfast at Cote - a French brasserie right around the corner from the hotel. They had the most amazing vegetarian breakfast!

Lunch at Camden Market - food markets is London are a must!! This place has changed so much since I first went in College but the food did not disappoint.. It’s all individual food stands but you can find everything you’re looking for. Also a great place to thrift shop.

Dinner at the Crown Tavern - this was our favorite pub when I lived there! It has the classic pub food like fish and chips and a Pimm’s cup.
